Q1. Carriage stuck at top of mast.

Q2. Machine will not start.

Q3. Machine will not go into auto mode.

Q4. Stretch film wrapping around drive roller.

Answers

A1.Cause: Carriage belt wound on backwards, usually caused by an obstruction underneath the carriage.

Fix: Remove the obstruction. Press and hold in the reset button for a few seconds – this will reset the machine and clear the fault.

A2. Cause: Power button not pressed.

Fix: Press green power button.

A3. Cause: Turntable and/or carriage not in home position.

Fix: Press and hold in the reset button for a few seconds - this will reset the machine and the turntable and/or carriage will return to the home position.

A4. Cause: Incorrect setting of dancer roller start switch.

Fix: Contact CPS service department for assistance.

A5. Cause: Faulty electrical and/or mechanical components.

Fix: This must only be performed by appropriately qualified personnel. Inspect all electrical and mechanical components for correct operation. Alternatively, contact CPS service department for assistance.

A6. Cause: Stretch film fouling turntable sprocket or sensor.

Fix: This must only be performed by appropriately qualified personnel. Take off turntable and remove all stretch film from the turntable base. Alternatively, contact CPS service department for assistance.
